Athlone Golf Club was founded in 1892 and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the country. Situated at Hodson’s Bay and surrounded by Lough Ree on three sides, it has excellent playing and clubhouse facilities and welcomes visitors all year round.
We are currently recruiting for a Club Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Club, which include:
- Delivering the Club’s operational, financial and strategic goals
- Creating a welcoming, member-focused experience for members and visitors
- Ensuring that the highest standard of customer service is provided at all times
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in managing a multi-functional team, possibly in a hospitality/Golf Club or member and guest environment
- Experience in financial management, payroll and budgeting
- Knowledge of best practice, HR, governance and compliance issues
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and social media platform
