AIG Barton Sheild team miss out on qualification

The Connacht qualifier for the AIG Barton Shield was held at Claremorris GC on Saturday. Sixteen teams competed with four to qualify for the Connacht finals. Athlone finished outside the qualifying positions with an aggregate score of 168.

Junior Cup team knocked out in Zone 1/4 final

The Junior Cup team qualified for the matchplay stage in second place but were knocked out by Roscommon in the zone quarter final in Loughrea.
