Chased all the way by Shane Connaughton, Thomas just held the lead after the last of nine GoY events (Carty Meats Grand Hamper) which was held over the weekend of October 19th/20th. Only a single point separated the two in the end with Thomas winning out on 60 pts and Shane on 59
